Santo Domingo.-La Oficina Nacional de Meteorología ONAMET mantiene un Alerta de condiciones de HURACAN desde Cabo Engaño hasta Bahía de Manzanillo, y, un Alerta de condiciones de TORMENTA desde Cabo Engaño hasta La Isla Saona, incluyendo a localidades del interior de la zona este, noreste, norte y noroeste del territorio dominicano.
UN ALERTA SIGNIFICA QUE EN UN PERIODO DE 48 HORAS O MENOS, PUNTOS DEL PERIMETRO COSTERO ASI COMO LOCALIDADES QUE ESTEN BAJO ALERTA PODRIAN SENTIR AL MENOS UNO O DOS DE LOS EFECTOS ASOCIADOS AL SISTEMA TROPICAL, COMO SON LAS LLUVIAS INTENSAS, VIENTOS FUERTES, ASI COMO MAREAS U OLAS ANORMALES.
